Delighted to share @ClydesiderMag Walkin Talkin experiment. 50+ folk from our local community attended the walks and discussed ideas about the potential of our local heritage, much of which is hidden away or unknown as little Scottish history was taught at school.
And WD has a fascinating heritage from the @cochnostone to @DumbartonCastle, links with Mary Queen of Scots, home of Robert the Bruce; also a proud industrial history - birthplace to QE2, Queen Mary, Cutty Sark, Singers + Turkey Red Dyeworks and home to @maidtosail, @SkylarkIX
Discussed how all this heritage could be used for regeneration, tourism, education, health and help restore pride in our community. Included ideas in the @ClydesiderMag article illustrated with photos taken by volunteers from our photo journalism workshops. #engagedjournalism

Basically, @eugenewel argues that the value of a social network relies not simply on utility (finding friends etc.) but its ability to confer status. Can I use the social network to accumulate social capital?
