1. A man aged 75 had for five days experienced tonic-clonic #seizures involving the right side of the face and right upper and lower limbs at a frequency of 20-30 per day. He had mild weakness of right arm and leg.

2. Patient was admitted in ICU under Medicine Unit. MRI brain and lumbar puncture were normal. New onset diabetes was detected for which he was treated with subcutaenous insulin.
Fits persisted despite treatment with midazolam and phenytoin. He was referred for neurology opinion

3. Patient was conscious but appeared exhausted. Review of blood tests showed high glucose of 350 mg/dL and mildly low sodium levels.

2/ I thought a few low vitamin levels was no big deal. I was having the munchies after an injection so I Googled to see if that was a side effect & I stumbled on the complications associated with B12. I have every single one. Some, like heart problems and reproductive stuff >
3/ are reversible. But the neurological and nerve damage can be irreversible. I have every single symptom and Iāve had them now for years. B12 & folate deficiency can happen if your diet is a bit shite, or if you are vegan/veggie. The hubby cooks from scratch and Iām not veggie >

I had an 72 hour EEG done in September (on my bday š) and had to push āthe buttonā about 3 timesābasically any time I felt an aura coming on, I had to click it so they knew where to look specifically in that time frame. 2/
Well APPARENTLY when he looked at the footage during those times, there was literally ZERO seizure activity š³
But it felt the exact same way as the auras I get from an epileptic seizure. So wtf? 3/
