To all involved in #crypto and not, DO NOT ignore this tweet

I was introduced to #bitcoin and #ethereum 5 years ago.
I even wrote my thesis on tokenizing real assets onto the #blockchain.

All I have to say is #Tezos! See threads below

$xtz #btc #eth #xmr #xrp $trx $btc
1/ #Tezos , #xtz is a decentralized blockchain that governs itself and it establishes a true digital commonwealth.
While #ethereum, is undergoing two fork, $xtz is upgrading its protocol by using voting on the blockchain.
Currently this is the 5th successful upgrade, #Babylon
2/ #Tezos is the first production-scale multi billion dollar asset tokenization project on the #blockchain.
Currently over $5 billion of assets ready in the pipeline for Q1 to be tokenized on the #xtz blockchain.

➡️ #Municipales2020 : les élus complaisants avec les islamistes, épisode 3.
➡️ Connaissez-vous certains élus Europe Écologie Les Verts (#EELV) de #Paris, #Rennes, #Tourcoing, #Grenoble ?
➡️ Petit tour d’horizon non exhaustif. Thread⤵️

Decided to take a Intro to Portfolio Risk Management in Python @DataCamp

Gonna apply the lessons to #Bitcoin price from Nov 2014 onwards /thread
@DataCamp General Bitcoin data so far:

Daily average return - 0.2406%

Implied average annualized return - 140.4271%

Standard deviation (volatility measure) - 3.9660

Graph below shows the daily return % on the x-axis plotted against the number of its occurrences on the y-axis $BTC
@DataCamp Does #Bitcoin follow a normal distribution?

For that we will need to measure the tilt of the distribution (Skewness) and the probability of outliers (Kurtosis)

Skewness - 0.2085

Kurtosis - 6.5293

This suggests that the is a greater probability of outliers & +ve returns

If you don't know what setup.cfg is, it's the simplest, easiest most bulletproof way to make Python 3 packages.

Here is how you do it.
1 - Create a file containing a single line:

import setuptools; setuptools.setup()

It should be in the same dir as your importable lib. Not inside, not in a parent dir. Next to it.

Let's say your importable lib is called "cool_package". Now...
2 - Create also a setup.cfg containing your metadata. E.G:

name = cool_package
version = 0.0.1
description = "Cool"
long_description = "Super cool"

zip_safe = False
include_package_data = True
packages = find:
install_requires =

Today we will discuss the 51% attacks, which is particularly relevant in light of the issues happened this year with #clo, #etc and #moac.
#51attacks #cryptomythbusters
Many #cryptocurrency “experts” believe that if a user has more than a 51% of the network hash rate, he can do whatever he wants, such as going on a spending spree. But in reality, it’s much different.
Let’s say a miner owns 60% of the network hash rate. This lets him “hold” his blocks and not send them to the network. Instead, he continues mining his own chain by himself. Over a certain period of time, the miner is very likely to create more blocks than the rest of the network

Because of the currently ongoing potential 51% attack on #ETC we have temporarily increased block confirmations on our ETC mining pool. We will notify you once the network has stabilized again
We can confirm that there was a successful 51% attack on the Ethereum Classic (#ETC) network with multiple 100+ block reorganization. We recommend all services to closely monitored the chain and significantly increase required confirmations.
Take care, the Ethereum Classic #ETC network is still being targeted by a 51% attack. Today we saw again 3 deep chain reorganizations:
