2020 kicked off with the launch of the Aave Protocol on mainnet, which brought cool innovations to the #DeFi space, like aTokens and #flashloans ⚡️
Many creative hacks and projects were built on the Aave Protocol in hackathons like @ETHGlobal #HackMoney, #ETHOnline, @gitcoin, and @Meta_Cartel. The Aave Ecosystem grants program started in April to help bolster projects that contribute to the Aave Ecosystem ⚒️💪🔩

1/ Participation was incredible. 700 hackers submitted over 175 projects.
