#Eunice, #Dudley e il clima. TD
1/n
Valori raggiungibili solo in inverno nelle depressioni extratropicali. Ogni riferimento a eventi fuori stagione è, quindi, sbagliato: questo è tempo invernale.

Storm Eunice is likely the most devastating storm in decades. New forecast models predicted it 5 days ago. The same models predict more severe storms over Europe with global warming, with sting jets prominent. @EngineeringNCL @metoffice #StormEunice link.springer.com/article/10.100…
Fig 5 shows number of events exceeding wind speeds for hindcast (a), control (b), and future (c) simulations. Proportion of events belonging storm types in each bin indicated by the colour: light blue Shapiro-Keiser cyclones, dark blue: those with sting jets.
Fig 6 Proportional contributions of sting-jet (SJ—dark blue), cold conveyor belt (CCB—light blue) and warm conveyer belt (WCB—red) to the pooled distributions of wind speeds from all sting-jet storms in the hindcast (a), control (b), and future (c) simulations.

Happy birthday to Chester for Europe. We had a party which was a not the Nigel Farage party and I think we probably had a much better time!

@CavernOf @PaysanChester
Even #EUnice was allowed to join us

Here is my little round up of todays stalls and the views and observations of our volunteers based on the conversations they had. We were in #Chester and #Northwich /thread
We used a new set of questions, which were suggested by @BrexitometerC in order to try and get a wider flavour of views in our local areas for which Brexit answer they prefer. After some discussion we left off question 5 in #Chester and kept it for #Northwich
You would think, listening to much of the brexit coverage and commentators this week, especially that which talks to “normal voters” that we would be inundated with angry people demanding a #crashoutnodeal Brexit on WTO and shouting about democracy

Here is a round up of our activities today. It was a busy day. We sent volunteers to the Cross in Chester and to Northwich to get out and talk to the people. THREAD
We took our lovely Mascot #EUnice and she really attracted some attention which allowed us to get into conversations with all kinds of people regardless of how they voted in the 2016 referendum.
People wanted to talk to us about how they felt about the #brexitshambles. We asked them what they thought about Mays deal, No-deal or Remain. There was quite a buzz and these were the scores on the doors about half way through.
