I found out about this project couple of weeks ago when I was scrolling through @pierskicks & @Delphi_Digital tweets. I went to NOR's website. I got interested.
And yesterday CEO of NOR came up with a podcast episode, which blew my mind.

1/ In Q1 of this year we began the $TOWER experiment and its a good time to have a year-end assessment/reflection now with @CrazyDefenseEN enjoying 3x growth & sessions, massive increase in retention and significant growth in installs/revenue powered by #blockchain #nft
2/ It was dubbed the $TOWER experiment because its tower defense and we wanted to blend F2P gaming with #blockchain and ultimately #playtoearn read our original post on the matter medium.com/tower-token/th…
3/ $TOWER could only be earned by playing the game, had no investor raise and was a completely fair launch medium.com/tower-token/to… and was priced at $0.001 it was truly experimental for its time (currently at about $0.06)
