I worked for three years as fundraising Coord for Melbourne Citymission and arranged appeals for @ABCaustralia and was constantly asked to set up national appeals office like the British BBC trust. Almost all fundraisers in Oz are totally against it. It’s time to reconsider.
Look at this long list of appeals being promoted by about.abc.net.au/appeals/ . It doesn’t even contain half of those I know about fundraising. What a mess.

The decision is by Judge Royce Lamberth, who serves as a federal district court judge, after he was confirmed to that position with the US District Court for the District of Columbia during the Reagan administration.
