O ano era 1972, onde a Ferrari vivia uma série de problemas ao longo daquele ano: Ickx reclamava bastante do equilíbrio do B2 em 71 e no início desse ano.
Principalmente pelo fato do calcanhar de Aquiles do carro ser o fracasso da combinação entre a revolucionária suspensão traseira com os pneus Firestone, que deixava o carro com diversas vibrações, tornando-o quase impossível de guiar, dizendo que o carro era pior que o anterior.

Substituindo o já vencedor F2001, a Ferrari tinha uma tarefa complicada em 2002. Afinal, segundo o renomado projetista sul-africano Rory Byrne, o modelo F2001 já tinha atingido o ápice do seu desenvolvimento.
Era essencial buscar uma redução do peso do novo carro, para ter maior liberdade na aplicação de lastros no seu bólido. Assim como também a redução do centro de gravidade, para gerar mais downforce no carro.

Para a temporada de 2000, a Ferrari vinha muito pressionada pelo jejum de títulos e por bater na trave nos últimos três anos (1997 e 1998 com Schumacher, enquanto 1999 com Irvine).
Além disso, Schumacher já havia começado o campeonato bastante pressionado, ainda mais quando o mesmo foi visto na festa de comemoração do bicampeonato de Mika Häkkinen em Suzuka pela McLaren.

O projeto, que tinha como codinome de projeto o número 655, representa uma evolução do já campeão F2003-GA.
Contudo, muitos dos conceitos foram redesenhados para maximizar a eficiência do novo motor Tipo 053 (concebido por Paolo Martinelli) e reduzir o alto desgaste dos pneus (principalmente os traseiros), problema crônico do F2003-GA.

Starting at the front Ferrari has changed its nose concept, with the blunter tip no longer meeting the forward most wing element as was the case with the F1-75 (shown for comparison). Instead it joins the second element, while the leading edge has a noticeable dip in the centre.
The nose tip has a rectangular driver cooling slot, note the small circular fastener below it. There is a pocket for ballast in the centre of the leading edge of the front wing element. The NACA style shape of the F1-75 has been dropped.

The prancing horse was in-fact the insignia of the Italian WWI aviation ace Francesco Baracca, one of the greatest pilots of Italian history, who was shot down during a mission in 1918 (2/7)
That insignia was a symbol of speed and audacity, a black horse on a white back, renown in all of Italy. Baracca became a legend especially in his home region, Emilia Romagna, the same of Enzo Ferrari (3/7)

Tempi che faceva #Russell nei giri successivi(non è tornato sull'1'23) #Leclerc poteva veramente tirare fino al 26/27 giro,ritornare in pista con gomme di una decina di giri più Freschi con sorpasso che sarebbe stato più agevolato.

The #Ferrari F1-75 appeared officially earlier today - so I thought it would be a good time for a Tech thread #F175 #F1 #F12022 (I only use official images and don't cover leaks)
Great hopes have been placed on the F1-75 as Ferrari diverted most of its technical effort in 2020 and 2021 to this design, so it should, in theory at least be a step forward from last season. The team calls it an innovative and daring design.
Starting at the front Ferrari has followed the trend of others with a nose tip sitting rearward of the leading edge of the front wing. The lowest element dipping just ahead of the nose tip. However the nose blends with the first element of the wing unlike others.

O assunto é o teto de gastos, que está em 145 milhões, bem abaixo dos 175mi definidos previamente. Ainda mais levando em consideração que o carro de 2021 terá de ser feito com esse novo orçamento. As grandes começaram o ano projetando fazê-lo com + de 450 mi. Corona mudou tudo
