Often, if you see a lizard run up & do pushups, it likely isn't talking to you, its but to another lizard that is a bit harder for you to see. Can you #FindThatLizard? Both of the western fence lizards?! Let me know with #FoundThatLizard. Reveal tonight at 9pm PT.

Are you a parent trying to find activities for kids home from school? Or someone stuck at home looking for fun distractions? Here are some fun, free science and nature resources you can use at home. Iā€™ll be adding to this list over time.
Youā€”yes, you!ā€”can do real science from home! Check out Zooniverse, a website for crowd-sourced citizen science projects. Listen to baby noises, transcribe Arctic plant collections, help locate black holes, and more! zooniverse.org
Check out @inaturalist! Go for a hike, and photograph plants, animals, and fungi and upload Geo-tagged photos. @seekbyinat helps with IDs. You can submit observations even if you donā€™t know what you found! Data are used for real biodiversity monitoring. inaturalist.org

In response to the whole ā€œwomen get fewer followersā€ situation, hereā€™s a thread of women I think everyone should be following.

#1 @hood_naturalist
Sheā€™s funny as hell, loves birds, is a passionate science communicator &speaks against racism, pointing out the bullshit she sees.
2) @1NativeSoilNerd I just met Lydia yesterday after having followed her for a while on here. Sheā€™s a gd inspiration. She studies how we can use plants to restore areas wrecked by mining. Sheā€™s also an imp. voice in Native American rights. Iā€™ve already learned so much from her.
3) @Afro_Herper Earyn is the shit. She is a herpetologist who is ALWAYS teaching me about lizards on here. Her pictures are super cool, and she started a super popular twitter game #FindThatLizard

Oh haiyyy, itā€™s #CrowOrNo time my friends. That means you tell me if this bird is a crow (has the word crow in its common name) or no and at 5:30PST Iā€™ll tell if you were right and offer some ID tips. Good luck and if you like the game give it a RT!
Alright folks, ready for this weekā€™s answer? This bird is #NoCrow! As many of you guessed itā€™s a common raven!
Although this weekā€™s main clue was subtle, once you know it, itā€™s a great subjective field mark to keep in your back pocket. Ready for it? Ok see these ā€œhornsā€? Thatā€™s a raven thing. Crows donā€™t articulate their feathers like that.

Welcome to another round of #CrowOrNo! Normally I donā€™t tell you who the contestant is but today Iā€™m just going to come right out with it...itā€™s Bob. Hope that helps! Answer at 5:30 PST! šŸ“ø@Jastrow75
Alright Bob, itā€™s time to find out if youā€™re a #CrowOrNo! Ready??? Bob is a crow!!! A carrion crow to be precise, which are one of my favorite for this game. Why? Because theyā€™re damn tough!
I mean look at those throat feathers! If youā€™ve been paying any attention to me you might suspect those be be hackles a la a common raven and I COULD NOT BLAME YOU
