Let’s talk about #mouthhygiene and the lies the #dental industry believes in and preaches… 🧵

First lie (picture below)…#fluoride
When you brush your teeth, tongue and gums with #fluoridated #toothpaste, #fluoride is absorbed into the soft tissues of your mouth. You absorb fluoride through your gums into the inner dentin of your teeth, weakening the dentin and making it chalky from the inside out.
To top it all off, whatever fluoride in toothpaste which adheres to our teeth after we “rinse out” is swallowed sooner or later. Dental gels and varnishes also wash off and are swallowed…
All forms of fluoride harm the body and should be avoided.

June is #OralHealthMonth.
Oral health's important but don't push #fluoridation.
It saves maybe 1 dental cavity after many years adding extra #fluoride to drinking water.
The evidence of harm from this practice is now overwhelming.

Can #fluoridation be fatal?
It sure can be.
A study recently published showed increased fluoride in drinking water increased hip fractures in post-menopausal older women.

Can #fluoridation be fatal?
Yup. Here's another example. A fluoridation overfeed accident killed a truck driver in Ontario Canada involved in a pile up on the highway when he was doused in fluoridation chemical.

Mustn't be so hard on themselves, 'disgrace' is bit much. After all, this is representative of the facts, such as they are. -|- "This is in spite of the fact that dental decay, or caries, is virtually entirely preventable. It makes the situation a disgrace to our modern society."
Even though the solution is known, the fact it is not being strongly advocated is bothersome. Neglectful even. -|- "The state of dentition there shocked me, especially the state of children’s dentition. It was not the deprivation that caused this; ..."
