Here goes our first thread. Singing goes a long way towards managing our own wellbeing. We breath together, we share words and emotions during in each song. Above all we laugh together. I recommend it. #seashanty #folksong #MentalHealthMatters
We have supported each other through some dark times. When we get together to sing, however we are feeling, the songs demand we take a break from our own heads and move into a shared space. A place where we are not alone.
If you are feeling lost or lonely please consider joining a choir, a shanty group or something that involves shared performances. I know that may be a scary prospect but trust me it could be a lifesaver. #ollysfuture #SuicideAwareness #MentalHealthMatters
