Good morning and happy #FreeKeithFriday! Today Judge Taylor is presiding.
Case 1: A young person who cannot afford home detention. The state recommends home detention. At this point (finally!!) the home detention fees will be covered. Judge Taylor so orders.
Case 2: This person deals with addiction and sat in jail while people outside tried to figure out appropriate treatment. All parties now agree to ROR to treatment, and Judge Taylor so orders.

Got call at 4:50 from his lieutenant that there was there was a body in parking lot. 1/

Info had been radioed in from security guard at entrance furthest from shooting scene. 2/
At some point was asked to move staff cars in front of one site line into the parking lot. Was asked to open a gate to allow police vehicles access to the crime scene. 3/
Thank you to all who overfilled the courtroom today. It was amazing. Keith definitely felt the positive energy.

Judge Cox denied dismissals based on discovery and evidence shenanigans.
Def brought up stalled, ‘lost’, and withheld discovery including some not provided until yesterday at 4pm.

Def detailed “missing” test fire shells from 2015 test. These were from the gun “found” near Keith and used by ballistics examiners to “match” gun to murder scene. Def discovered these test fire shells were ‘missing’ after last trial.
