The source of hatred towards Sadhguru protected on SM by a certain section of Hindu Traditionalists seems to be based on him successfully galvanizing massive public support to #FreeHinduTemples!

No wonder the British were able to divide and rule us so easily in the past 🤦‍♂️
Did Sadhguru ever say he is the one to start a movement like this? NO

Did pioneers of the movement to legally & constitutionally free Hindu temples, like @trramesh or @jsaideepak say so? NO

Did anyone get this kind of public support before or did anyone prevent them? Perhaps No
Did Sadhguru or his team ever publish anything like them being the only custodians of temple freedom movement? NO

Did many Dharmic gurus from across the country support this endeavour? YES

Then why is so much angst & acrid behaviour towards Sadhguru from some sections alone?

You "follow" someone long enough on twitter - their ugly underbelly becomes visible....not so different from real life - is it?
Had puzzled me always, why certain handles swearing by Sanatan, has weirdly latinish names. Others had suspiciously Hollywoodish ones!
It becomes clear now, as like a hungry horde, they are attacking @SadhguruJV, all on the back of his vocal support for #FreeHinduTemples.
Clearly, the agenda is to pose as sanatanis for as long as possible, and whenever any notable appears to be adding critical mass to true Sanatani unity, run a vitriolic campaign against them.
I ignored the intuition that kept raising the red flag at the names these handles++

I have been thinking to put down why #FreeHinduTemples is important, with the story of @srigokarna temple!!

The thread may look bit lengthy, but it is very important for all of us to understand why it is important.

Deity & devotee: is temple! No role for govt here!

1/
Along with establishment of @ShankaraPeetha at Srikshetra Gokarna 1300 years ago by Adiguru Shankaracharya, the administration of @srigokarna was given to SriMatha with notes:

अतित्रष्ट यतिश्रेष्ट गोकर्णे मुनिसेविते। महाबलस्य च लिंगंच नित्यं विधिवदर्चनम।।

#FreeHinduTemples
2/
In between, the Mahabaleshwara temple @srigokarna which was supposed to be administered by @ShankaraPeetha got covered by the premises of Muzrai department by mistake of the government.

The marginalisation today of Tamil Jains ‘Samanars’ as they were once known is in stark contrast to their position and numbers.

Jainism flourished in Tamil Nadu in around 300 BC in recorded history with indigenous Tamils followers.

The Tamil Jains shaped the religion, politics, culture and society of the Tamil region, with three of the five major Tamil epics ( Silapaddikaram, Civaka Cintamani, and Valayapathi) written by Jain authors.

Tamil Jains were also instrumental in organising the first Dravida Sangam in 470 AD, believed in a casteless society, emphasised education for all and gave great respect to women religious teachers.

I am actually not surprised that there is a tirade being built up against @SadhguruJV.
The same was done when he started his rally for rivers.
The latest rant - a 10 minute section from a 4 hr video, is being used to vilify him in totality.
Why?

Only one thing comes to mind++
++ He is lending his weight to the #FreeHinduTemples #FreeTNTemples issue.
It can no longer be dismissed as coincidence.
He, like every other human being, has his faults, and if he says something that is not correct, he can be called out.

Can someone find out the occassion++
++of the said video? Is it a recent video? Or is it an old one?

If it is an old one, how come it has suddenly surfaced at a time when he has started openly supporting freeing of Temples?

Are trad Hindus being cunningly played by forces inimical to Sanatan Dharma?

Significance of Chidambaram Temple design, layout & architecture of the temple is replete with philosophical meanings.
Let's go thru a small Thread -
1. The 9 gateways signify the 9 orifices in the human body.
2. The Ponnambalam, the sanctum sanctorum represents the heart which is reached by a flight of 5 stairs called the Panchaatchara padi - pancha meaning 5, achhara – indestructible syllables – "SI VA YA NA MA", from a raised anterior dias - the Kanakasabai.
3. The access to the Sabha is through the sides of the stage (not from the front as in most temples).
The Sanctum sanctorum is held by 28 pillars – representing the 28 agamas or set of methodologies for the worship of Bhagwan Shiva.

Why Kerala State is called "God's Own Country"?
Younger generation will not know & older generation might have forgotten the History behind this.
When India got Independence on 15th August 1947, the Travancore Kingdom didn’t join the Indian Union Govt.
Diwan of Trivancore Kingdom announced in June,1947 that the Trivancore Kingdom will be a separate country by itself.
During that period, the Trivancore Kingdom was well developed with Public Transport, Telephone Network, & Heavy Engineering Industries. The King took over
all the expenses of the University. Above all, all Hindus were allowed to enter into all the Temples, without any bias on the caste, which was prevalent throughout India that point in time. When the talks were on between the Indian representatives & King Chithirai Thirunal
