Enter #1 @scewenzy. Profile picture is stolen from an LA-based model. Account tweets in Dutch and English with a variety of tags including #freewestpapua. Some of the following accounts were found through this account's retweets & likes.
Let's take a look at #2 - @CleamentsJeans. This time they even used a similar name to the model they stole the image from (same as the fake account above). Tweets in Dutch and English.
The #FreeWestPapua movement always put West Papuans as a victim of racism while the actual facts shows that many Non Papuans were being killed by West Papuan separatist terrorist (TPNPB OPM).

Even the local West Papua separatis groups named KNPB call the Benny Wenda (leader of ULMWP) as a LIAR.

@BennyWenda known lives happily in Oxford, UK, while the local West Papua separatist groups keep doing terror by killing more than 50 civilians in the last 2 years. Almost all victims identified as Non Papuans.
I captured five days of tweets using #WestPapua & #FreeWestPapua tags after a crackdown by Indonesian forces against Papuans in Aug. What I found was a bot network spreading pro-govt propaganda.

How does this help? With this visualisation we can spot irregularities. Just like a moth in a web, we notice this far-removed cluster of accounts over to the left, with a very unnatural network pattern. This thread will look at WHO they are, WHAT they do, and HOW they run.
