The US Federal Reserve has two imperatives: keeping #employment high and #inflation low. When these conflict - when unemployment goes near-zero - the Fed forgets all about #FullEmployment, cranking #InterestRates to "cool the economy" (AKA "increasing #unemployment"). 1/
