In these difficult times I was proud to celebrate the fantastic work of @nufcfoodbank & the #GenerousGeordies & local businesses who support them. We should not need foodbanks but during this crisis they are more needed than ever!

We are so lucky in #Newcastle to have such fantastic #NHS hospitals, clinics & GP services with so many dedicated staff making sacrifices all the time to keep us healthy & make us better, I want to express my thanks to all of them at this difficult time @NHSMillion
We have to do all we can to help them to help us & right now that means following the public health advice, whatever your age, #StayAtHome #WashYourHands #HelpEachOther
And we are also really lucky to have our fantastic #ToonMoor & so many parks across the city. I cycle & run in them regularly. Whilst some of us can still use them safely, not everyone is doing so. We need to maintain 2m distance at ALL times.
