The biggest danger at #Zaporizhzhia isn't a nuclear meltdown.

It's that NATO will use that overhyped risk to ratonalize entering the war.

This is classic wartime propaganda playing out before our eyes.
You know what produces more radiation than a reactor meltdown?

A nuclear war. Between the United States and Russia.

We aren't talking about another Iraq War. This is a conflict that could end the human species.
Two critical points about #Zaporizhzhia:

1. The reactor design means this isn't a second Chernobyl scenario.

2. NATO air strikes would *increase* the danger at the nuclear plant right now.

Why has Ukraine been so successful at information warfare/propaganda vs the supposed Russian masters of it?

A thread 🧵 of 10 persuasion messaging themes working for them:
1) Pre-Bunking
In the past, Russia was essentially pushing against an open door.
This time, a network style coalition got ahead of it and preempted and pre-bunked the Russian goal of justifying a long planned invasion as an emergency response.
Elements ranged from UKR govt to Biden administration and US intelligence agencies to key NATO states (Baltics especially) to online democracy activists to OSINT trackers.

There have been unconfirmed reports of a one Ukrainian MiG-29 pilot called the #GhostOfKyiv taking out Two SU-35s, One SU-27, One MIG-29 and Two SU-25s
If true, it sounds like Ukraine might have a real life Maverick (who also shot down MiGs in the movie)
I hope this pilot exists she or he would be fucking legendary and could be a big morale booster. A former comedian president, out gunned and outmanned defeating the Russian military would be incredible.
David doesn’t always defeat Goliath but sometimes he does.
Some of those Soviet MiGs are absurdly fast especially for being so old. Like the Foxbat (MiG 25 being nearly capable of Mach 3 capable for a short time but still fucking nuts for 80s tech)
