Surely, They Do Not Know What They Are Saying ...

πŸ“Œ They say the Aircraft belongs to Ethiopian Airline.

Well, Ethiopian Airline has majority ownership of Nigeria Air (49%). Nigeria Air is one of its subsidiaries. So why not? What is the issue there?
πŸ“Œ They say it is an "old aircraft". Then they say the aircraft is 10 years old.

I ask: How is a 10 year old aircraft an "old aircraft"? What is the lifetime of an average Boeing aircraft? It has a lifespan of around 35 years or 90,000 flight hours. So what are they saying?
πŸ“Œ They say why a small country like Ethiopia & Ethiopian Airline?

I laugh. It is not by size. Ethiopian Airline is 77 years in operation this year. How old is Nigeria as a nation itself? It is not an excuse, but it is the truth.
So what is their point?

Maybe this Operational Control Center for Nigeria Air was set up overnight right inside the Abuja airport as part of the 419 by Hadi Sirika & Buhari.
Just like @hadisirika called Ethiopian Air overnight and they painted an aircraft & sent over to Nigeria.
Every day, I look at some Nigerians & I pity Nigeria & the serious patriotic Nigerians among us.

I pray for Tinubu and any one who will lead Nigeria after him. Tinubu should be particularly wary of ex and vex-Buharists.
The problem with Nigeria is Nigerians. A mixture of willful ignorance, unbridled mischief and lack of patriotism.

Buhari has done his bit and the judgement of posterity awaits him as it awaits all of us.

A NATION OF PROCRASTINATORS

BVN: We refused to do on time. We cried for extension.

REGISTER FOR NIN: We did not do. We demanded for extension.

LINK THE NIN TO PHONE LINE: We vehemently refused until lines were blocked and yet we demanded extension.
REGISTER FOR PVC: We refused to do till the last minute. We demanded for extension.

COLLECT THE PVC: Whosaii!! Even after they were brought to our wards, we refused to collect. We want an extension.

DEPOSIT OLD NAIRA NOTES: For where? The deadline must be extended.
The way we rationalise and defend our 'right' to demand for extensions, I am seriously thinking that the national assembly should pass a bill to include the extension of the deadline for every national exercise in the Nigerian constitution.

PETER OBI ON CNN
MY CANDID VIEW

Dr Uche Diala
I made special effort to attentively watch the Labour Party candidate, Mr Peter Obi's interview live on CNN to the end. I have also objectively watched the recorded video at least 4 times since last night and it has only left a bitter taste in my mouth.
First, surprisingly I am less miffed at Mr Peter Obi than I am at the anchor, Zain Asher who is; as she said Nigerian, Igbo and from the South East; even though I know she only throws in those identities whenever she thinks it serves the purpose of her career at CNN

BUHARI, NIGERIA AND INSECURITY: THE DETAILED JOURNEY SO FAR
OBJECTIVELY SEPERATING FACTS FROM FICTION

As at May 29th 2015, Nigeria was on literally fire. I mean real fire. Not the largely orchestrated noise we have today.

1/
Nigeria was practically about being run over by Boko Haram terrorists; from the North East to North West down to Abuja FCT in the North Central and emboldened to dream of heading south. Churches and Mosques, Markets and Malls and other public spaces were being bombed all over. 2/
Even our police headquarters was not spared.

Our soldiers were not all in Sambisa or other forests and bushes. Many were in Abuja, the nation’s capital trying desperately to protect and defend our Churches, Mosques, business places and even police and military facilities.

I'm starting a thread tonight of the good things happening in Nigeria that you might have missed. I'll populate it with more as I find them.

So I wanted to rant since yesterday but wasn't in the mood. Hear me out now.

So I traveled to be with my family yesterday so I could escape the boredom of being stuck in Lagos all alone at home for days now. Yes o, I had to self isolate! I'm an obedient citizen nah. Lol.
Then the impending lockdown rumours were getting scary. Barely a week away from work and I was almost going crazy! Not to talk of an indefinite solitude. Man had to escape mehn! I set out and the road was pretty free. The fear of Miss Rona is the beginning of . . .
Fast forward to few minutes away from Ore and I meet these guys in uniform. I had met quite a number all the while anyway and most just waved me off. I figured my face mask scared them or something. Some of them also had masks and gloves too. Responsible officers! Lol

Concerning #WalterOnnoghen, the #CJN of Nigeria, I remembered an article written by the ebullient & brilliant @Naijavote about the parallel link between our decadent society & the corruption that thrives in the judiciary. This was many years ago in @THISDAYLIVE Law.
Thread: πŸ‘‡
I had a lengthy argument with my late Mom, sister & brother-in-law about the core issue of that article, which was how our society created all her beasts & demons & certainly deserved the consequent corrupt & visionless leadership. #WalterOnoghen #ChiefJusticeOfNigeria
@Naijavote asked (not in her exact words though), "Where do #CorruptJudges come from?" She said that they were first 'unscrupulous & corrupt lawyers'. She also asked where those unscrupulous & corrupt lawyers came from. Her answer was that they were the bad & cheating students.
