So, today will be almost my last day on this twitter account. Pretty soon the picture, the control, and the content will shift to the new President, Dr. McMahan. Before I go though, I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for listening to what I have had to say for the 🧵
past couple of years. I have really appreciated the interactions and the Twitter friends that I have made here. It is an interesting challenge and fantastic opportunity to speak on behalf of a university in 280 character bursts. I also want to thank you all for your support.

A message from the Dean of CSTEM. The College of STEM values all of our Student Athletes and recognizes the important contribution they make to the fabric of our university. Many of our great Eagle Athletes are STEM majors and alumni of our outstanding programs.

Athletics are an important part of the American university experience, and we are all made stronger by the community they help create. We are nationally recognized for the quality of our student athletes and their academic excellence.
The entire athletics program is an outstanding partner to EWU STEM, and we look forward to our continued collaboration for excellence. #GoEags 🦅
I'll be observing EAG Day tomorrow by watching the @EWUFootball Eagles take home the #FCSChampionship against the North Dakota State Bison. #GoEags!

In fact, I've made a friendly wager with North Dakota Gov. @DougBurgum on the game. If we win, they'll send Dot’s Pretzels, Homestead Honey and North American Bison steaks to Olympia’s Thurston County Food Bank.
