Spot on. To be absolutely clear, the WTO is run by its member governments. They negotiate the rules and monitor whether the rules are respected. The Secretariat's role is exactly that, secretarial, supporting members' work in the councils and committees

A good Brexit deal is within grasp but MPs risk throwing that away in hope that by leaving with no deal, we might be able to improve our position

1/ The EU & Irish govt have said that there will be no hard border with NI in the event of “no deal” at UK exit. But this means that the EU has also accepted that the EU is bound to do a ‘zero-for-zero’ deal with no tariff barriers with the UK.
