You may have heard of the Azusa street revival whose leader was William Seymour.

There was a man called Charles Parham who was William Seymour’s spiritual father and the principal of the bible school William Seymour attended.
Pentecostalism was born when Charles Parham taught his bible students (including William Seymour) about receiving the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues in his bible school although he himself did not yet speak in tongues.

Strange, isn't it? It gets interesting

Many years back when bodybuilding was in vogue (again), I recall I was to do 200 squats as "welcome to gym".

It wasn't funny. I recall that as I climbed the stairs the following day, I had to hold the railings and walls to find a balance.

However, when I went back two days after, the squats were painful but I became used to it. Muscles were being built hence the initial pain.

It is the same with the anointing.
When we look at some of God's generals and how they move in the things of the Spirit as well as the healing anointing, we celebrate them and say "more anointing" when we see them.

However, we forget it is the same Spirit that has been given to ALL of us.
