They don't care

SO CN DARVOs & gaslights, call us unfit parents.

Because they were blasting their horns repeatedly in the middle of the night. But still CN personnel talk to me about endangering kids. Like just this past Xmas.

Before beginning, Guthrie wants to take a moment to recognise the loss of Bob Bell last week. Guthrie said it was a big shock after he decided to retire last year to spend more time with his family. Guthrie publicly offers his best wishes to his family.

Mayor Guthrie has called the meeting to order. He's here in person with Cllrs Chew, O'Rourke, Busuttil, Richardson, Goller, and Klassen. Caron, Caton, and Billings here virtually.
Guthrie says this is a bit of orientation for council, especially the new ones, to talk about how they came up with the Strategic Plan and how it intersects with City business. Also notes that COVID threw a wrench into things as they were implementing the plan.

I have knocked on doors, made phone calls and talked with friends and neighbours. I am voting with a few on Thursday in order to help get out the vote, but I'm afraid it won't be enough.
At this time, I really think the only chance we have of stopping Ford and his PCs is to swallow our preferred party pride, check our hearts, and vote for the candidate most likely to defeat the PC candidate, riding by riding.

According to @WDGPublicHealth, there have been 134 new diagnoses between Guelph, Wellington and Dufferin since Aug. 20.
The 7-day average has more than doubled in that time, going from ~6.5 Aug. 20 to ~13.6 Aug. 29.
