Nein. War sie nicht, es sind nur die „richtigen“ erkrankt. Die zwar auch schwer, aber relativ wenige starben.
Eine Parallele ist die Notwendigkeit, schnell einen Impfstoff bereitzustellen. 2009 war das gar nicht so kompliziert, denn Influenzaimpfstoffe werden ohnehin jedes Jahr neu aufgelegt und es gibt Mock-up-Impfstoffe, die „leer“ sind und nur mit dem Antigen beladen werden müssen.

#Corona und #H1N1 2009/2010 sind zwei unterschiedliche Viren, aber der Vergleich des zeitlichen Infektionsgeschehens zeigt, welche Dynamik virale Krankheiten entwickeln können. In beiden Fällen waren die kleinen Peaks im März bzw. April, jetzt sind wir gerade KW44.
Bei H1N1 kommt hinzu, dass im Mai 2009 die Meldepflicht aufgehoben wurde. Der zweite, höhere Peak stellt daher nur die Fälle dar, die trotzdem gemeldet wurden. Wenn man H1N1 als Muster betrachtet, muss man für Corona mit einer noch stärkeren Dynamik rechnen.
