There is no definite origin story for the Sri Lankan New Year and most scholar point to a multitude of sources that all evolved into what we now celebrate today. But, it can be said that the modern festival originated in the 1500s during the Sītāvaka Period.

The celebration has a long history in India which likely influenced the date for the festival in Sri Lanka as both places have had a history of cultural exchange and movement for millennia.

Find your definition of happiness. Mine was:

1) Financial freedom.
2) Do things that I enjoy doing the most.
3) I always wanted to be the boss of my own time.

One thing I used to hate the most was when my Boss use to ask 1st thing in the morning (Kahan ho/ Where are you?)

Soon I figured out that I cant leave job as i don't have Plan-B. So I decided to do my Job like my own business.

1) I negotiated with every Boss in a very transparent way ( I will give you 5% more than what is expected from me but I expect certain things from you).

film. There was another yipping silly dog who constantly licked my shoes. My guess is he'd never known a still moment in his life. I have and forever will have a soft spot for clowns.
But I was most drawn to a timid member in the back of the pack. I petted her and told her she

had beautiful feet and ears and eyes. And thanked her for pulling my fat ass around the wintery wonderland. I pulled ice chips from her paws and her muzzle. Then did something you're never supposed to do with a wild dog. I looked her full in the face.
