Tragically Omar was badly let down when clinics in the camp said they couldn't do anything to help him. This seems to be typical of treatment for the #Rohingya for anything out of the ordinary that would require specialist treatment. #HelpOmarFaisal

This is Omar Faisal with his dad who has never stopped fighting for him. For 6 years they tried to get him treatment for a condition that could have been easily treated as a baby. If left untreated he will go blind. #HelpOmarFaisal

We tried to fundraise privately and get Omar Faisal treated without any fuss, but when he caught pneumonia and the operation scheduled had to be cancelled we realised we would have to take his story public to raise more funds. But also his is a story that deserves to be told...
