వీటిని నిర్లక్ష్యం చేయడమంటే, జాతి తన చరిత్రను చెరుపుకోవడమే! అంతే కాకుండా ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా అనేక నిర్మాణాలు, పురావస్తు సంపద గుర్తింపునకు నోచక మరుగున పడివున్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ప్రపంచంలోని చారిత్రక స్పహ కలిగిన మేధావుల సూచనల మేరకు ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితిలోని యునెస్కో,

I always tell you about my maternal gran who I loved and miss daily. She is my hero.
But today I will tell you about my paternal grandad, Ethan Mayisela. I never met him, he passed on before I was born. A few years ago I decided to do some research about him & wow, what a man.

My grandfather, Ethan Zangeshane Mayisela was born in 1922. He grew up to be an Economist. He studied a BCom at Wits, Honours & Masters at University of Natal. A black man in the 1940s. I wish I had met him to hear the story of his university days. It must’ve been quite the tale
