Es sind solche Videos, die in der Gesamtschau mit weiteren Videos verdeutlichen (z.B. Videos von aufgegebenen Stellungen im Wald, bei denen die Russen hastig Geschütze unbrauchbar machten), dass die Russen in diesem Frontabschnitt von den Ukrainern völlig überrumpelt wurden.
Und das verwundert nicht, wenn man solche Videos sieht. Die Ukrainer nutzen ihre überlegene Ortskenntnis und führen Panzereinheiten verdeckt durch den Wald und abseits der befestigten großen Straßen an den Feind heran. Maximales Überraschungsmoment.

A bit of house cleaning and putting my chips down in this thread. I think most of my readers know by now that I harp on moral clarity and clarity of purpose. Most of you also know that I am a recovering addict. Staying in recovery requires honesty and often hard choices.
The final bit of groundwork is the fact that many of you have heard me speak. Now that the stage is set, lets dive into the mess I tried to stay out of because of the above-mentioned facts. As is obvious from my daily threads, my twitter space home is @MriyaReport
I found the space shortly after the war began and listened a few times, finally figured out how to ask to be a speaker and the began adding what I could, and taking all I could knowledge wise. The place is an absolute treasure. I got to talk to a nuclear physicist earlier.
Last night, Congressman @RepFrenchHill held one of his tele-townhalls. He does this several times a year to connect with his constituents and has done so for years. I immediately jumped in the que intending to ask him to pledge to continue supporting Ukraine, but I need not have
bothered. Ukraine and his efforts to support her came up within the first few minutes of his own "report" on what he has been doing. Although I have never before gotten picked to speak to the Congressman during one of these events, (calls are screened) I was question #2 further
proof that he considers Ukraine to be an important issue he wants to talk about. Since his support was already self-evidently rock solid, I switched my question to ask him if he would support declaring #russiaisateroriststate and thanked him on behalf of my friends in Ukraine.
So now that the Russian effort has or is about to culminate and its the ZSU turn at bat what would an offensive look like? This is a complex question. Most people want a big offensive that punches through the Russian lines gaining large amounts of liberated territory that
forces the Russian's to retreat or risk encirclement. After all the Russian Army is exhausted and they have not proven very adept at handling forces in a maneuver fight across a wide area. This fits with "western" ideas of what an offensive looks like from Desert Storm.
However, I don't think Ukraine has the level of kit needed for this type of operation. While HIMARS and 155mm tube artillery is aggressively attritting the Russians, behind Russian lines the Russian Air Force is still a major factor. Massed armor invites massed attack. Instead,
