As a SrA I ran a surgical team that had 3 surgical services. Eyes, ENT & Plastics. I trained incoming techs. I was trained to be able to scrub into any surgical service. Our OR had 19 OR suites. We did everything. But the one thing that means Image
3/ the most to me was the family and friends I made. They were officers & enlisted..Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Nurses & techs. We were a family. We didn’t always like each other but we always had each other’s six. That was never a question. I’ve kept in touch with some of them.
