Here, Jonathan Tasini claims the GOP is gaslighting America, making Americans think they're the crazy ones; this, as Wictor is stating, is implying that the GOP is trying to drive Tasini crazy and say horrible things about trainwrecks.
This is the same kind of excuse you'll see if the hashtag #huntrepublicans is brought up, you know the one that was coined after a Berniebro walked up to a congressional Republicans' baseball practice and opened fire, wounding Scalise in the hip.
