I had the pleasure of taking part in this experience. The filmic quality of the scenery and the thrill of jumping off my horse to run into the dunes in search of danger. It was genuinely epic, and we learned so much from it.
You'll notice some unusual riding positions in some of the photos, that is because the Icelandic horses have the tölt gait. The aid for this speed is just to lean back. It is remarkably easy to sit to, and very fast.
The horses were amazing, and totally up for circling behind our enemies through the waves and generally being fabulous.
