A. Stop carbimazole and monitor by weekly/fortnightly TSH, FT4 levels and follow up.

B. Switch to PTU 50mg bd and do FT4, TSH after 2 weeks and review

C. Switch to PTU 50 mg bd + LT4 50mcg OD. TSH, FT4- 4wkly

D. PTU 50mg BD and Propranolol XL 20mg , Monthly TSH,FT4-followup

In general there are two main types of IMGs: US-IMGs and Non-US-IMGs. The former are US citizens who went to medical school outside the US, typically in the Caribbean such at @AU_Antigua, @StGeorgesU, @aucmed amongst others, but the could also go elsewhere such as Ireland 2/
Non-USIMGs have are doctors who are not US citizens who went to medical school outside the US. They may have trained at a medical school in their home country or have attended one of the schools the USIMGs attended, however they need visa sponsorship to practice in the US 3/
