A quarter of the physician workforce is on a visa. 70% of those work in underserved and rural areas. Think about those numbers. Do this for your physician colleague who may die at a ripe old age as a "temporary worker" despite serving Americans for decades.
Almost a whopping 10% of COVID-19 in the US has been reported in healthcare workers. This colleague is putting their life and families' legal status at risk during this pandemic. Without them, the physician infrastructure will collapse in many hospitals.
