Can't deny personal liberty.

Our Democracy extraordinarily resilient.

Don't like a channel, don't watch it.

May differ in ideology, but courts will protect freedom.

State can't target an individual like this.

Technicality cannot be ground to deny personal liberty.

This is not a case of terrorism.

If money is owed to a person, is that abetment to suicide?

For abetment, there needs to be actual incitement.

Is this a case for custodian interrogation?

In the case of Gopal Vs. State of Maharashtra, Justice S.S. Shinde (presently one of the hon'ble judge on Arnab Goswami's case) and Justice R.G.Avachat had observed that Mere mention of name in Suicide Note, does not make the named guilty of 'Abetment of Suicide.

The hon'ble high court had observed that for abetment to suicide it is necessary that the provisions given u/s 107 of the IPC are met !

#अर्णव सही हैं य गलत मैं उस पर बहस खड़ी नहीं करना चाहता पर क्या किसी भी पत्रकार को एक आतंकवादी की तर्ज पर भारी भरकम सुरक्षा व्यवस्था के साथ पैरों में बगैर जूता-चप्पल के घसीटते ले जाना सही है??

क्या इस प्रकार महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने एक गलत परम्परा की शुरुआत नहीं की जिसका अगर अनुसरण शुरू हो गया तो आए दिन देश में अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी का गला घोंटा जाएगा, बड़ा सवाल जो लोग NDTV पर कार्रवाई के मामले में अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी का गला घोंटने और आपातकाल की बात करते थे,

वे अर्णव के मामले में शांत क्यों हैं? पत्रकार से राजनीतिक दलों, नेताओं की सहमति-असहमति हो सकती है, लेकिन इसका मतलब ये तो नहीं की बदले की कार्रवाई शुरू हो जाए! अभिव्यक्ति की आजादी को कुचल दिया जाए! मेरा फिर वही सवाल क्या केवल कहने को देश में मीडिया चौथा स्तंभ है?

1. Anvay Naik commits suicide only because he was not paid his dues (assuming he had a perfect life other wise).

2. The suicide note has his signatures but not his Mother's.Wherein the accusation of abetment is for both suicides.

3. In the Police record it says,Anvay hanged himself & his mother was 'Found' dead.

4. In autopsy both bodies had damaged neck.Anvay's was due to hanging.His mother's death was however not concluded.

5. Concorde's total debt was Rs. 19.57 cr & bank OD 10.37 cr in 2016.
The deal with Arnab had no relation with his debts & 90% of dues had already been paid.

6. Mrs.Naik asked ARG ltd to pay outstanding amt to 3rd party which was not binding the contract.
