#Indoco Remedies’ management seems to be very optimistic about strong expansion in margins. They have an export order book of ₹150 with export margins expected to increase by 400-500 bps over the next 3 quarters. 
They will achieve EBITDA margins over 20% in this financial year and have said that they are confident of taking margins to over 25% over the next 3 years.
Management has said that there is huge scope for operating leverage to play out at the Baddi facility. They expect to reach 70% capacity utilization by December 2023

1. Company Overview
Indoco, was incorporated in 1947, 2 weeks after India achieved its independence with the principal business of importing pharmaceutical formulations and distributing them in Western India.
Indoco, was incorporated in 1947, 2 weeks after India achieved its independence with the principal business of importing pharmaceutical formulations and distributing them in Western India.
Today, Indoco manufactures and markets its drugs in India as well as exports them to various other countries. Their domestic formulations business generates 70 million prescriptions annually. They are also involved in the manufacturing and sale of APIs.
1. Net revenues for the quarter were ₹348.6 Cr (4.6% growth YoY). EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹73.4 Cr and EBITDA margin for the quarter was 21.1%.PAT for the quarter was ₹33 Cr and PAT margins were 9.5%.
2. Revenues from domestic formulation business for the quarter was ₹181.5 Cr (15.2% growth YoY). Major therapeutic segments viz. anti-infectives, gastrointestinal, urological and respiratory performed well.
