Big news from the latest @UN report on #ISIS/#alQaida was ISIS' rebuild strategy and that much of it is being directed by Abu Bakr al-#Baghdadi out of Iraq

But there are a number of other interesting observations in the report...
On #alQaida, the @UN intelligence suggests the group although the health of AQ leader Ayman al-Zawahiri & AQ's succession plan "are in doubt"
The @UN report also concludes #alQaida-aligned groups "are stronger than their #ISIL [#ISIS] counterparts in #Idlib, #Syria|n Arab Republic, #Yemen, #Somalia and much of West #Africa"

While the criminal groups in NW Nigeria are currently independent of these terror groups, we see an alliance with the terror groups whose members are mainly of /2
the same ethnic stock in months as the heat is turned on them by the Nigerian security Ops in their strongholds in NW.
The large numbers of deaths & persecution of the Peuls in Mali have attracted seemingly laid back Peuls to radical jihad with trained militia members signing up

I/ I would not want to dwell extensively on this but just to shed a little light answering a few questions thrown my way about ongoing Massacres around the River Benue valleys in Nigeria & late Gaddafi's link to this.
II/ The Peul/Fulani Militia invasion of towns & communities on the plains & valleys surrounding the River Benue from Numan, Obolo, Awe, Dekina etc are not late General Muammar Gaddafi's mercenary group called "The IslamicĀ  Legion" or
III/ the later recruits rushed into libya during the February 17 revolution as claimed by Nigeria's President Mohammed Buhari.
