Following yet another synagogue shooting I have seen those on the left say that again this is evidence that Jews face more of a risk from the right than the left. On the face of it this seems accurate until you bother to look deeper at the real threat the left pose.
If you look at terrorism in the uk over the last 50 years very little has been carried out by right wing extremists, with notable exceptions such as #jocox. We had a wave of murders by Irish republicans mainly left wing groups often targeting based on religion
In the last 20 years the majority of attacks in the uk have been by Islamic terrorists, again often targeting based on the religion or perceived religion of the victims. But of the classic far right terrorist there has been very little.
