Ensuring all people have access to clean water is the foundation of our work at @EPA.

I was in McDowell County, West Virginia this week — a community with just 19,000 residents — that has felt the impacts of inadequate and failing water systems for decades. #JourneytoJustice
Many residents rely on straight pipes that discharge raw sewage directly into their yards or into local bodies of water. And too many lack reliable access to clean, safe drinking water.
Even with these challenges, community members in McDowell have remained resilient and resourceful and have come up with innovative ways to make up for a lack of resources.

Last year on this day, #BreonnaTaylor was killed by police. A large protest shut down I-94 in #StPaul as people responded to the news that Louisville Metro Police Department officers will not be charged for fatally shooting Taylor. unicornriot.ninja/2020/crowd-pro…
