Senescent, sour, Sydney moonhowler @SimonChapman6 has been 'shaking his cane' at #tobacco shops for selling #vapes. Thing is, they are a 'highly addictive' **0%** #nicotine strength.

As such.. it is not 'highly addictive', 'highly habituating', or even 'mildly habituating'.

I picked those two up in Sydney the other day at a tobacconist - who was proud to tell me they had no nicotine at all.
Reassuringly, one of those is actually /made in #Australia/. So applying sensible consumer regs(1) for Quality Control should be easy, and save us (consumers) from having to get them from countries that do not demand high standards in construction or ingredients.

(Thread) Another POOR study from the @NEJM. Sure to be quoted by media & physicians alike. ANYONE that takes 5 minutes to read the methodology & patient profiles will know. Hydroxychloroquine with or without Azithromycin in Mild-to-Moderate Covid-19 | NEJM
1.) Not a single patient in the study was without SERIOUS co-morbidities. Simply read the chart that explains this. The most common was hypertentison, but also included diabetes, COPD, AIDS, and many others.

2.) Not one patient was without multiple, serious medications.
Every patient had MULTIPLE meds onboard. The authors point out the increased incidence of QT prolongation as this has become one of the common, yet incorrect fear-triggers associated with HCQ.
