The more I look at it the more #JusticeQaziFaezIsa short order appears an enigma. Of course one ought to wait for detailed judgment. Often these undergo great changes owing to contextual & public opinion assessments. As things stand Order more akin to a potential witch-hunt 1/
Esp given many things SC asking FBR to do now are time barred or otherwise open to challenge. Also even if any inadequacy in wife’s papers how is the nexus to be made with the judge? There’s none now. And if none of what they excavate now part of original ref then was that not 2/
premature, flawed, inadequate & even malafide? And if it was then why is he not completely off the hook? Or is this accountability on a rolling basis? SC Order has spawned multiple new issues, ambiguities & indeed doubts about what’s going on. If original reference gone then 3/
Primary question is what the quashment really means? Has #JusticeQaziFaezIsa now been irrevocably decoupled from his wife’s transactions? Because if his petition has succeeded that means the reference was either malafide or showed no nexus/wrongdoing. But then Paras 9 & 10 are 1/
potential Trojan Horses. Why can SJC come into play again? Surely this is a matter now that pertains only to the wife. Can something else be discovered, uncovered or concocted that the FBR takes back to the SC/SJC so that J. Isa can be pulled back in again. In which case 2/
the sword is still hanging. & what chance does FBR have 2 resist external pressures where even more apex institutions have historically found it irresistible? This appears potentially sinister. Jubilation may be premature/misplaced. Hope idea not 2 tire judge into submission 3/3
