काफ़िर शब्द का अर्थ है इन्कार करने वाला। ऐसा व्यक्ति जो किसी व्यक्ति ,धर्म अथवा वस्तु का इन्कार करता है ऐसे व्यक्ति को उस धर्म अथवा वस्तु का काफिर अर्थात इन्कार करने वाला कहेगें। A/1
