2) The CoS owns a tremendous amount of Los Angeles real estate. They have a modicum of local power and they have long made outreach to politicians as part of a larger strategy to “infiltrate” society, tho to what end - turning everyone u to Scientologists - is kinda dumb.
3) but the kind of speech #KarenBass gave ... I can’t see #KamalaHarris ever giving that speech. It is *highly* disingenuous to claim ignorance about a group all Californians with any power know all about - and often laugh about. Should it matter politically? Eh...

Mayor #LondonBreed was the 1st mayor in the country to put in place a stay at home order. Her proactive leadership is being credited for the low level of cases and deaths despite the size and the 7 million population of San Francisco. #BlackWomenLead 3/10
