A local source in #Khoms reported that following disembarkation (70 people) a shooting happened — 5 people were shot, 2 died + other injured. Local IOM team was on the ground.

In #Libya, I met with people people in detention, like John, who has been held in Tarik Al Sika Detention Center for more than 2 years. He only received a piece of paper from UNHCR with his registration number.

#Libya According to the first info a ship left from Al Khoms, 120 km east of #Tripoli, with about 300 people. ~ 150 people are feared to have died & another 150 have being returned to Libya. The survivors were picked up by local fishermen.

In Al-Khums, the bodies of people who died after their wooden boat capsized off the coast of #Libya. The hangar belongs to the Libyan Directorate for Combatting Illegal Migration (DCIM). Red Crescent teams have been recovered 62 bodies so far.

On Saturday, a ship sank off the coast of #Libya with 117 people on board, only 3 survivors from #Sudan & #Gambia were taken to #Lampedusa. There is a hundred missing: mainly people from #Nigeria, #Cameroon, #Gambia, #Ivory_Coast and #Sudan.
