I think it is safe to say that I have fallen in love with DC. Not the city, necessarily, but the way every inch of it screams of change.

2/ Last weekend I returned from a week long trip to DC with my school. We did all the normal touristy stuff, monuments, museums, etc. but we also spent two days lobbying after spending a semester researching a piece of legislation. My group selected the #GreenNewDeal
3/ The trip was a beautiful exercise in spontaneity as well as a reminder that as much as this city, this country, all of it, belongs to the middle aged white men in suits that gave me dirty looks when I walked down their office hallways, it belongs to me, to us.
