🧵ChatGPT is all the rage nowadays, so I took some time during the holidays to experiment with it - here's a short thread on my findings to help you in your #l10n endeavors:
Rephrasing: This is by far the most useful use case I've found. Whenever I get stuck on a sentence that sounds clunky, I just chuck it in there and bounce ideas. It seems to work with many languages, but English should get the best results due to its larger datasets.
It also goes beyond a simple "writing assistant" - have you ever had to translate a rhyme but just can't find the right words? As it turns out, ChatGPT is rather good at that, to the point where it can spit out entire poems/songs on any given topic.
