An epic crossing multiple generations of a single family, beautifully written and detailed.
I read this at the beginning of the year, and some of the characters are still with me. Like old friends.

2) “Bluets” by Maggie Nelson
Ok, lots of feels here. I’ve never read a book like this one so it’s hard to contextualize. In (many) ways it’s an exploration of love and loss, through Nelson’s relationship with the color blue.
It’s mesmerizing.
