Ok #LAFC & #MLS friends, a LOT of questions about Chicho Arango & “How is it possible that they are trying to get rid of him or even entertaining the idea of it?” Hope this 🧵 helps. @tombogert gif fired up. Let’s go! 
1. Not everything is scoring goals. Just listen to Cherundolo throughout the season, he wants his 9 to defend, press and be an asset with the ball, and Arango is not great at any of those things. Awesome if your 9 scores, but just like w/ the USMNT, it’s not the entire picture.
2. Arango’s contract is insanely attractive. They could sell him out of MLS for at least double for what they got him or sell inside MLS and get an absolute haul, GAM transfer record. Listening to offers doesn’t mean he is on the market, it’s called doing smart business.
