@LeoVaradkar's long honeymoon is now over. The party is not delivering on public services, on financial prudence, on housing or on tax cuts. The way the Mercusor deal is being spun is pissing off farmers and this insensitivity to Catholics is just icing on the cake.

Electoral Commission data show that, while there were 266 allegations of electoral fraud in the 2018 local elections, there had been only 1 conviction and 2 cautions

Councillor Roderic O'Gorman opening proceedings says the Greens are running 82 candidates in #LE19. Party has 12 sitting councillors and wants to take back seats in Galway, Cork and Clare as well as take new seats in the likes of Kildare and Westmeath.

While @FineGael contine to poll above 30%, the small gain that @fiannafailparty made at the turn of the year has now been reversed and FF are now back to polling lower than their #GE16 result.

@FineGael @fiannafailparty On the left, @sinnfeinireland appears to be holding at ~17% which should generate seats gains in #LE19 but @labour continue to flatline on ~5% meaning potential #LE19 losses and no seat in #EP19.
