Instead of what management experts and leadership gurus feel—no I'm not saying they are completely wrong—I've just a different way of seeing things.

This law is the strongest in the country, banning #PFAS, #phthalates, #formaldehyde & #lead in cosmetics & personal care products that we use on our bodies & get sent down the drain. It's the only law in the nation that bans lead & tackles all chemicals that release formaldehyde.

The darker side of dark chocolates

I have quietly watched developments since, including the burning of mining camps, road blockades and this week's uncertainty on maybe cancelling some mine permits. Sadly for the long-term prosperity of the Peruvian people my fears are playing out.
Investors crave certainty - there is currently none. #Peru is now uninvestible for new foreign Western World capital going in.

We often search outwardly for #leadership advice. Another strategy is looking inward for advice: exploring the self might be more fruitful, and here’s why:
How we #lead is merely a projection of the self. If we take more time to explore and know our self (our beliefs, assumptions, values, opinions, fears, etc.), then maybe we can better understand the style and manner in which we lead.
Others have their own style and manner in which they lead. Their style, which is unique, is merely a projection of their values, their opinions, their fears and hopes—all unique. These projections will never mirror your projections.
Investing in #Tungsten
I start off each series on investing in a different metal talking about mineralogy – this will be no different! There are 2 commercially valuable mineral types in tungsten – scheelite (calcium tungstate) and the wolframite series (iron-manganese tungstate.)

Scheelite is generally speaking easier and cheaper to recover than wolframite, mainly because it is recoverable via gravity and flotation means whereas wolframite only by gravity. Scheelite fluoresces which can make a trip to an underground #tungsten mine very interesting!
Both scheelite and wolframite are brittle meaning that they are liable to produce unrecoverable slimes during processing. These #tungsten minerals have a very high specific gravity though, of 6 g/cm3 and 7 g/cm3 respectively, making gravity separation relatively simple.
WTF. I am seething with anger. We buy foods for our baby from these companies. And they have been poisoning food with high levels of Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium, and Mercury.

2/ The current bill requires #preschool and #childcare facilities to conduct drinking water testing for lead. If lead "equals or exceeds 15 parts per billion" (ppb), they must reduce the lead levels.
Testing = Good
15 ppb lead = Bad
Testing = Good

Well, the @AmerAcadPeds (doctors dedicated to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults says lead no greater than 1 ppb. (These are doctors who know #children's health)

If I were @jjhorgan, today I would:
1. Mandate masks in schools.
2. Shift schools to online learning in Fraser Health and Van Coastal.
3. Direct School Districts to use Federal Money to reduce class sizes and fix HVACs.

How "layers of protection" have changed since March. In order:
1) Distance
2) Masks
3) Ventilation
Hand washing etc is no longer in the top 3. When people state that masks are the weakest layer , they are out of date.
