For the past 4 days we had a stand at the #LibDemConf. When we arranged it we thought we would not meet many who voted leave and the main aim was to raise awareness to get people to help amplify their voices. But we were wrong, we met many new #RemainerNow guys.

To every journalist who said the Lib Dems letting people vote for a party that will stop Brexit is undemocratic: Congratulations.

You've let Farage pressure you into spreading the idea that an advisory referendum on a concept so vague, Brexit voters ended up hating the Brexit they got, not only overrides elections (core of our democracy) but limits what parties can offer in elections.

Many of you have resisted the idea of having a referendum on whatever deal results from Brexit. That's bad enough given that Brexit was undefined & un-negotiated when people voted for it.
