In March, at the height of the #lcokdown, @thewire_in's @svaradarajan was delivered a legal notice by police from Ayodhya. A quote in an article was wrongly attributed UP the Chief Minister, which was retracted and a corrigendum issued.
On 26 March, DM of #Varanasi sent a legal notice to Hindi daily Jansandesh Times claiming their report about tribal children eating grass for want of food due to the sudden announcement of the lockdown on March 24 was false. 3/n

Historic decisions for the #agri sector with the ordinances announced by the Union Govt, creating a progressive path forward for India's farmers, intermediaries & agri-entrepreneurs. My take on the impact in simple terms, from a farmer/ agri-entrepreneur lens...

Previously, farmers with marketable surplus could only sell to Licensed buyers such as State & private mandis, APMC licenced cold storages/ warehouses/ Companies. But these buyers could sell to anyone! A very skewed market, right!? Farmer lost earning, Trader gained margins!
Further, with the Essential Commodities Act (ECA) Govt had the right to impose price or stock control on commodities or ban exports at any time. This created intense volatility & trust deficit. No entrepreneur small or large wanted to venture into this unpredictable quagmire.

Kenapa sih kita kita sewot mulu klo yang d test dikit. Apa sih gunanya? Intinya adalah supaya kita ga tersesat sama data yang ujung2nya ga bs kita percayain. Untuk apa sih bkin data itu? Ya buat yakinin kita2 kpan boleh hapus #psbb dan #LOCKDOWN2020 . Image
Nah kalau ini data d bkin sendiri, jmlh test ga mumpuni. Kan bkin tersesat sendiri. Akhirnya pemerintah bingung sendiri n deg2an sendiri kapan amannya buka #psbb. Yah tp gpp lah nanti kalau d buka trus #COVIDー19 menggila berarti #psbb lg.. gitu aja ko repot @blogdokter Image

Santosh Solanki, a ward assistant at the Naidu Infectious Diseases Hospital, Pune has been serving patients amidst the Covid pandemic. During the swine-flu outbreak as well, he was one of the many faceless staffers who worked from morning till late at night.
While doctors and nurses are often recognised for their work, seldom are ward assistants or orderlies given any credit. Yet, staffers like Solanki continue to serve the patients selflessly. Even Solanki’s mother was a cleaning staff at the hospital, so was his grandmother.
Solanki says, “There are times when we are treated badly by patients or their family members, but I have no regrets. Rich or poor, we are all humans. The disease doesn’t discriminate. We know that they are under tremendous stress. So, we always respond to all patients politely.”

Who will win #lockdown2020, those who normally put a lot of effort into their appearance or those who have less far to fall?
What will those who normally put hours into their appearance do will all this new free time?

Also those crazy nails are just virus catchers. Say goodbye for your own health.
I mean, it's totally creepy and i disavow this, but Zoom even has a filter to glow you up. So you now have copious free ex-grooming time…
